Discover Tanzania's

Pristine Safari Haven Beyond the Crowds

Journey into the heart of the Maswa Conservancy, a breathtaking wilderness bordering the iconic Serengeti.

Experience authentic safari seclusion, thrilling wildlife encounters, and the raw beauty of this hidden gem off the well-traveled routes. Spanning over 2,200 square kilometres, the Maswa Game Reserve in Tanzania features diverse landscapes, including wide-open plains, rolling hills with woodlands and shrubs, dramatic kopjes, and seasonally dry rivers with permanent waterholes.

This varied habitat makes Maswa a haven for wildlife, offering an off-the-beaten-path experience with fewer crowds and more tranquillity than the Serengeti. Known for its high predator concentration, Maswa is a prime spot for observing lions and leopards.

While not the main destination for the Great Migration, it sees significant wildebeest herds during the dry season (January and February) as they seek its water sources. Unlike seasonal parks, Maswa offers excellent year-round wildlife viewing due to its permanent waterholes.
