About

Safari365

Marcus Brain, Safari365's owner and founder, has always had a deep passion for Africa.

As a born and bred African, the first thing Marcus did after finishing University in Cape Town was to pack his bags to explore the fabled continent by hitchhiking to Victoria Falls. From climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, to sailing down the Nile river on a dhow and every adventure inbetween, his passion for the continent was entrenched as was his desire to share the Ubuntu spirit with the world.

This desire sparked the birth of Safari365, an African based business that allowed guests from around the globe to get tailor-made advice and safaris from the people living and working on the ground in Africa.

To stay connected to the continent, Marcus and the ever growing Safari365 staff contingent continue to travel the length and breadth of Africa, visiting and inspecting every national park and over 750 of the top lodges, to ensure the best for our guests.

“Today, Safari365 is one of Africa’s leading tour operators, involved throughout the tourism value chain, from tour operating, to hospitality, transportation and currency remittance; and have helped countless thousands of guests explore the best of Africa’s secrets.

The years may have changed, but the passion hasn’t. We thank you for entrusting us with showing you Africa, and invite you on a journey of discovery and intrigue.”
