After landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (the entry point for safaris in northern Tanzania) take a short transfer flight to Fort Ikoma airstrip adjoining the Serengeti National Park.

Return to the lodge for lunch, and spend the afternoon at leisure or indulging in a spa. The afternoon holds the opportunity for another game drive, before a boma (outdoor) dinner under the evening stars.

After breakfast depart via road transfer to Simbavati Migration Camp, located on the open plains of the Serengeti and home to the Great Migration.
This mobile camp moves twice annually (between the northern area of the Serengeti on the Mara River, to the southern Ndutu plains), so is always optimally placed to be amongst the 1. 2 million strong Wildebeest herds.
The sensation of being amongst the migration is incomprehensible, and the plains are alive with action.
