One of the world’s most loved cities, as you arrive in Cape Town you’ll be collected from the airport and transferred to your hotel – where en route you’ll enjoy magnificent views of Table Mountain. This morning join a half day private city tour which includes a visit to pretty Company Gardens, the South African Museum and Castle of Good Hope – Cape Town’s oldest surviving colonial building, dating from the 1600s. The highlight of the tour will inevitably be ascending iconic Table Mountain by cable car, where you will be afforded panoramic views of the city, beaches and Robben Island beyond.

If you have time in the afternoon, we recommend visiting the spa at Cape Grace. This offers a serene sanctuary with a range of treatments inspired by African traditions. Guests can indulge in massages, facials, and body treatments that use natural ingredients sourced from the continent. Today, rise early for a full day exploring the Cape Peninsula and Cape Point on a privately guided tour. Just a short drive from Cape Town, the Winelands are a region of breathtaking beauty and rustic charm, home to South Africa’s famed vineyards and culinary delights. Towns like Stellenbosch and Franschhoek boast historical architecture, lush vineyards, and some of the country’s best gourmet dining experiences, often paired with world-class wines. This area is not only a treat for the palate but also for the eyes, with its picturesque landscapes and tranquil atmosphere.

No trip to the Western Cape would be complete without spending time exploring the spectacular and historic winelands region. Just a half hour from Cape Town, visit a handful of diverse farms for hosted tastings of some of the best wines of the Cape, often coupled with magnificent views of the lush vineyards, mountains and valleys beyond. As well as boasting huge historical significance, the winelands are a visual feast for visitors and play host to some of the best restaurants in South Africa.

For those seeking relaxation, the Londolozi Healing House offers a range of spa treatments, from massages to wellness therapies, designed to rejuvenate your body and mind. You can also participate in a yoga session, which is often held in a tranquil outdoor setting, allowing you to connect with nature while practicing mindfulness. Day 9

Victoria Falls, known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya or “The Smoke That Thunders”, is one of the world’s most spectacular waterfalls. Located on the Zambezi River, the falls plunge into a chasm and are best viewed from numerous points along the cliffside. The area offers various adventure sports, as well as opportunities for serene wildlife viewing on the upper Zambezi. The local towns are vibrant with craft markets and cultural experiences.

After breakfast, check out and there is a private transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, it is a scenic drive passing rolling hills and farmlands. This should take 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on wildife sightings on the way. Take a scheduled flight through to Victoria Falls International Airport. Pass through immigration and exit the arrivals hall and one of our local Safari365 representatives will greet you with a welcome board and then transfer you to the newest 5 star lodge in Victoria Falls – The Palm River Hotel. The drive is about 20 km (12 miles) and takes about 25 minutes.

Arrive at The Palm River Hotel which is in the lush and forested area close to the Zambezi River and Victoria Falls. Upon arrival at the Palm River Hotel, you’ll be greeted at the entrance by the hotel staff, who will assist with your luggage and guide you through the check-in process. The morning light also provides excellent opportunities for photography, with the mist from the falls creating beautiful rainbows. Your guide will lead you along the well-maintained paths that run through the Victoria Falls Rainforest. The guide’s expert knowledge will enrich your visit, offering insights into the history, geology, and local mythology surrounding the falls, often referred to as “The Smoke That Thunders.”

In the afternoon, you’ll be transported in comfort from your hotel to the boarding point along the Zambezi River.
