The Barracks in Cape Town is a unique blend of historical charm and modern luxury. Situated in a prime location on Bree Street, this serviced apartment complex is housed in one of the Mother City’s oldest buildings, dating back to the mid-1700s. 

A significant aspect of The Barracks is its heritage conservation. The design retains the historic essence of the original warehouse while incorporating a modern structure that respects and highlights the building’s past.

Klaserie Private Game Reserve

Simbavati Waterside is a serene safari lodge in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, offering luxurious suites with private decks and eco-friendly amenities. The lodge features unique dining experiences including a traditional Bush Boma and a beach boma with a wood-fired pizza oven. Guests can enjoy two daily game drives, witnessing the diverse wildlife of the area. How To Enter

Submit your best images (one image per submission).
Images must be in JPEG or PNG format.
Photos should not contain watermarks.
Only photographs taken in Africa are eligible.
Camera, GoPro, and smartphone images are all welcome.

Voting and Prizes

The competition runs until 12 January 2025.
The Safari365 panel will choose the top 10 images by 13 January 2025.
Voting begins on 14 January and closes on 29 January 2025.
The winner will be announced on 31 January 2025.
If the prize is not claimed within 12 months, it will be forfeited.
If we are unable to contact the winner within 14 days of the announcement, the prize will automatically go to the photograph with the second-most votes.
The prize is valid for a 9-day/8-night holiday, and the trip cannot be split up.
The prize is valid for 2 people and includes a transfer from Cape Town International Airport to your accommodation, Cape Town accommodation to Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa, Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa to Cape Town International Airport, Hoedspruit Airport to Klaserie Private Game Reserve, and Klaserie Private Game Reserve to Hoedspruit.
Flights are not included. 

The competition prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.

Additional Rules

This competition is open exclusively to clients that have previously booked and travelled with Safari365. 
You may submit as many photos as you’d like.
Only the photographer who took the photo can enter.
Minor editing, including colour enhancement, cropping, and minor retouching, is permitted. However, altering the integrity of the photograph is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to adding or removing key elements of the composition and creating composites from multiple images.
We do not accept images generated or significantly altered by artificial intelligence (AI). All entries should be created using traditional photography techniques.
Photographs should showcase wildlife, plant species, and/or landscapes (no people).
By submitting your photos, you consent to their use on our website, social media, and promotional materials.
By sharing your name and social media handles, you consent to the sharing and posting of your photos on public platforms.
By entering, you grant Safari365 a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your photo(s) for competition promotion and marketing purposes, including on our website, social media channels, and printed materials. 
Entries will be judged by the public, and the winner will be based on the popular vote.
Safari365 reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it deems to be inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of the law.
Safari365 is not responsible for any technical difficulties that may prevent an entry from being submitted.
Safari365 is not liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the competition.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
